Oil on canvas board depicting a three masted sailing ship under full sail on the open turquoise blue ocean‚ 8” x 10”‚ signed “J. Arnold” lower right‚ in a wonderful early 20th C. gold gilt frame‚ frame size 13” ¾" x 15 ¾". Condition: Approx. eight very minor areas of paint loss along the left and bottom edge with the largest being approx. 1/16” x 3/8”.
