Condition: Approx. eight very minor areas of paint loss along the left and bottom edge with the largest being approx. 1/16" x 3/8". Price: $450.00

Carlton Theodore Chapman, (American, 1860-1925), watercolor on paper, depicting a marine landscape with multiple sailboats and a steam sail ship in the background, 13" x 18 ¾" sight, signed "Carlton T. Chapman" and dated "1884" lower right, in what appears to be the original gilt mat and of the period gilt oak frame having scrolling leaf highlights, frame size 24 ¾" x 30 ½". Condition: Not examined out of frame, very minor toning of paper throughout, very minor waviness of paper throughout. Price: $ 695.00
