Patrick Vincent Berry (American, 1843-1922), oil on canvas, depicting a winter landscape with farmer and sheep on snow covered path with trees and split rail fence, 16" x 12", signed "P.V. Berry" lower left, framed.

Fidelia Bridges, (American, 1834-1923), watercolor on paper, depicting a wonderfully detailed image of a bluebird on a pussy willow branch, 10 " x 7 " sight, signed "F. Bridges" lower center running up the branch, in what appears to be the original mat and frame with gilt highlights, frame size 15 " x 12 ".

Condition:
Not examined out of frame, very minor toning throughout especially along outside edges due to contact with mat, very minor waviness to paper, minor areas of foxing throughout principally in the upper area of the work, there is a faint line in the upper right corner that runs on a slight diagonal and being in approx. 2" from upper right corner.

Franklin Dullin Briscoe, (American, 1844-1903), oil on board, depicting fishing boats with figures and a sail boat on the open sea with gulls, 14 " x 17 ", signed "F.D. Briscoe" lower right. In an of the period elaborate scrolling leaf and floral gesso gilt frame with egg and dart border, frame size 24 " x 28 ".

Condition: Under fluorescence the sky appears to have inpainting throughout covering approx. 75% of the sky area (but it may be the way that the clouds were painted as well) and having minor areas on inpainting along outside edges due to contact with the frame.

Pauline Ebner (Austrian, 1872-1949), a delightful watercolor and ink on paper Christmas illustration, depicting an interior scene with seven children dressed as elves dancing hand-in-hand around a dining table having bread, cake, fruit and wine on the table, signed "P.EBNER" lower right, 12" x 11, unframed. NOTE: Pauline Ebner was at one time an illustrator for Grimm's Fairy Tales.

Pauline Ebner (Austrian, 1872-1949), a delightful watercolor and ink on paper Christmas illustration, depicting a young girl sleeping with a doll and dreaming of dolls and stuffed animals under a candle lit Christmas tree and surrounded by thirteen agles, three of the angels are playing musical instruments, signed "P.EBNER" and dated "1911" lower right, 11 " x 17 ", unframed. NOTE: Pauline Ebner was at one time an illustrator for Grimm's Fairy Tales.

Edmund Havell, Jr. (British, 1819-1894), an exceptional oil on canvas, depicting a very elegant looking woman riding dressage on a beautiful dapple gray horse in a sunny summer wooded landscape, 44 " x 34 ", signed "Ed. Havell" and dated "1878" lower right, titled on the frame "Miss Booth Smith", also titled on the verso "Miss Booth Smith (No.2)", in a very nice wide gilt oak and plaster frame having various leaf decoration, frame size 55 " x 44 ".

Condition:
Minor to moderate craquelure throughout with minor separations; in the upper center there is an abrasion with minor paint loss approx. 3/16" x 3/8"; under fluorescence there are minor areas of inpainting principally being in the landscape directly in front of the horse and a minor area in the body of the woman directly in front of her right arm, areas of inpainting cover less than 1% of the work; varnish has yellowed and the work would benefit from a cleaning and restretching as there is minor waviness to the canvas principally in the upper area of the work.

William John Hennessy (Irish, 1839-1917), a delightful oil on canvas depicting a attractive young girl sitting on an Empire chair in a room setting, cutting black cloth to make doll clothes which is lying on the table next to her along with a sewing basket and colored cloth waiting to be worked, signed "W.J. Hennessy" and dated "1889" lower left, 12" x 10 1/8", nicely framed. NOTE: This is a wonderful example of Hennessy's sought-after paintings of children. Born in Ireland, Hennessy, studied in America before returning to Great Britain.

Frederick Leo Hunter, (American, 1858-1943), oil on canvas, depicting a wonderful marine landscape with sailing ships along a beach with figures and a lighthouse, 14 1/8" x 20 ", signed "F. Leo Hunter" and dated "1928" lower right. In a silver leafed coved frame, frame size 19 " x 26".

Condition: Very nice original condition overall, no further indication under fluorescence.

Egisto Manzuoli (Italy, 19th C.), oil on canvas, after a painting by Andrea Del D'Angiolo Sarto depicting a Religious grouping, bearing a signature on the verso "Egisto Manzuoli Fece Firenze", 53" x 39", in a ornate carved Italian "of the period" gilt frame having overall scrolling leaves and shell decoration. NOTE: Bears a label on the stretcher for the artist and his gallery in Florence. Also bears an inscription on the stretcher noting "Original Andrea del Sarto"

Robert Emmett Owen, American, 1878-1957), oil on canvas, depicting a soothing fall landscape with a dirt road and meadow, 18" x 24", titled on a label on the stretcher on verso " Near Campton Bog, N.H." and Serial 41", signed "R. Emmett Owen" lower left, framed in what appears to be the original gilt frame having decorative scrolling leaf and floral corners, frame size 24" x 28 ".

Condition: Very nice overall.

Campton Bog is located adjacent to Robartwood Pond at the southern foot of the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire.

Robert Emmett Owen, (American, 1878-1957), oil on canvas panel, depicting a winter landscape with house, barn, outbuildings and apple trees, 12" x 16", titled on verso "W. Plymouth, NH", signed "R. Emmett Owen" lower right, in an of the period gilt frame, frame size 14" x 18". Robert Emmett Owen has become popular in the last five years because of his wonderful landscapes.

Condition:A museum quality cleaning and revarnishing only has been completed on this painting. Under fluorescence there is no indication of inpainting.

Henry Rankin Poore A.N.A., (American 1859-1940), oil on panel depicting a mule attached to a cart with a male figure standing adjacent to the wheel, all in a courtyard area with arched openings, 5" x 8 ", signed "H.R. Poore" and dated "85" lower right, unframed.

Condition: Minor losses to corners of panel, in need of a surface cleaning, otherwise in very nice condition.
